Book well in advance. With a small campervan, you might get lucky and snag the "makeshift" spot.

Small campsite, great pitches.

Very nice hikes are possible.

Cycling is also fine if you enjoy cycling in the mountains. It's just under 5 km to Merano, downhill and uphill on the way back, of course. But it's okay.

Bakery and restaurant around the corner, and Algund with its shops is also just a few minutes away by bike.

It's surprising that more Dutch people haven't discovered this campsite; it's a small, beautiful campsite. The sanitary facilities are clean, and it's a great starting point for cycling. Do book in advance, as this campsite is always full; we were able to stay for 2 days. Highly recommended!

Nice small (city) campsite. Clean and pleasant sanitary facilities. Cycle to Merano, approx. 3.5 km. Bakery at 100 m, Lidl at 2 km.

We were located right near the reception, right next to a sports hall (area C). Nice spots with shade, but towards the afternoon/evening you have to search a bit for a sunny spot. The spots by the pond are small and not very attractive (area B). Nicer spots at the back of the campsite, right next to the vineyards (area A).
