Camping Passeier Meran

The manager is asking for a tiny spot (barely enough for a campervan) for €45 excluding electricity and tax. €106.50 for 2 nights. The campsite isn't exactly a campsite; it's crammed together and the pitches are unkempt. The restaurant is excellent, and the sanitary facilities are also okay. You're here for the trips you can make in the area (and there aren't many campervan pitches to choose from), but the beauty of the surroundings isn't the campsite's doing. Exorbitant price

For this price, I would have expected a better-maintained pitch (weeds and lots of bare patches, and where there should have been gravel, there was almost nothing but dirt)! On top of that, it was very small, like a sardine in a can, and a very busy site. The bike highway on one side and the through traffic (arriving and departing) on the other. You can't book a river pitch. Unfortunately, there's no lighting on the site. The sanitary facilities and main building are good.

stayed at this campsite for three nights, reserved a spot, which was a good thing because the campsite was full. luckily we had nice and hot weather. Too bad you don't have a shady spot. There were limited ones. We were in the back ring right next to the very noisy river. The disadvantage here for us was the limited availability of nice terraces and restaurants in the vicinity. Good restaurant at the campsite but very poor service
