Parking P1

We arrived at P3 at 16:30. That's when many tourists leave and there was plenty of room to park the camper. There is a small snack bar and next to it a toilet that remained available all night. There are also waste bins. No other facilities. The barriers do not close, so you can just spend the night there. You do have to buy a ticket, which costs €10 per day, so €20 for an overnight stay.

Braies cannot be reached in high season without a pre-ordered P-card. You are not allowed to go upstairs between 9 am and 4 pm. P1 is a parking lot and from there you have to take a bus to the lake. Think about 6 miles up. P4 is located near the lake, there are only a limited number of camper pitches. Other P not accessible with campers due to height restrictions.

Manager started out friendly, but as soon as we started speaking in English the mood changed. "No english only Italiano!" We had to quickly choose whether we wanted to stay for a while or also stay overnight. In the meantime he spoke German to us. We opted for an overnight stay and had to pay 20.-.
