We were here last Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed the location, the tour, the delicious food and wine tasting, and the people. It was an evening we won't forget. Highly recommended.

It took us a while to find it, but we had a fantastic evening with a tour of the wine cellar and vineyard, and a look at the olive trees. Afterwards, we enjoyed delicious food and fine wines at a long table. And there were lovely people to chat with. Definitely a place to return to.

We had a fantastic evening here. The place itself is very idyllic. Alex also gave us a wonderful tour and spoke enthusiastically and passionately about his wines. His English is excellent. The food was good (a lovely antipasti paired with the light wines and a delicious pasta paired with the more robust wines). Only one caveat: the toilets are somewhat inaccessible and there's no electricity (or is that what adds to the charm?). There is a swimming pool.

Information
Organic winery located between Florence and Siena offers a tour of the winery followed by dinner with tasting of 4 wines and overnight stay for 40€ per person. The winery is located in the middle of nature and can be found by searching Clantenova on Google Maps or via the GPS coordinates. The toilets are accessible for free, but not available from midnight to 8:30 am. You can refill with water but it is not drinkable.
