Nice campsite with a swimming pool and a very good restaurant and pool.

We drove to Livorno early in the morning and passed a Gypsy camp.

Someone in our group was stopped there and they asked for money.
Eventually, they did give us some money so we could continue driving.

So be careful, because there might be another route, or you could just ask at the reception.

Spacious pitches surrounded by lots of greenery and trees, helpful staff, great restaurant, unique sound map of airplanes. Nice swimming pool.

The location is fine. The road leading there is bumpy and narrow. Be careful if coming from the South via the Gypsy camp. There are reports of threats and extortion. The sanitary facilities are mediocre. The toilets are short and wide and in need of replacement. The showers have a weak trickle and offer no proper way to hang your clothes. The surroundings, however, are nice and relaxed.
