Nice neat small-scale campsite, lots of shady spots, neat sanitary facilities, close to the lake, with sunbeds and umbrellas, which unfortunately do not really invite you to swim, very warm water and very cloudy and dirty (lots of seaweed and dead fish)
Nice campsite on the lake and a fifteen minute walk to the nice village. A little further walk to the station, for the train to Perugia. Good sanitary facilities, decent sized pitches. Lots of shade. A few times a day you can hear the train, but that is not disturbing. Pretty pricey, but you know that in Italy in high season. Nice cycling around the lake (about 60 km), but many gravel paths and occasionally a piece along the road.
lees meerWe stopped on the way back from EUROCC2023 which was held in Assisi this year. It is a superb little campsite located on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, very pleasant, very clean, the staff is exemplary in kindness, the welcome is warm and the people are very available. Our Concorde motorhome is 11m high, 4m high, 2.5m wide, weight 15 tons, they gave us a 100 square meter berth, it was great.
