The camper site at these coordinates is no longer accessible. However, the camper site near the gondola is usable. It is, however, well over a kilometer further away from the trail.

Perfect for the hike to Lago di Sorapis. Short walk to Hotel Passo Tre Croci, from where the hike starts. Very large parking lot. Quiet place to stay overnight. Garbage can be disposed of in the bins located there. Restaurant across the street with an Italian menu.

For those considering taking Route 216 back from Lago di Sorapis, be aware that it is very tough. Almost everything is uphill with quite dangerous descents. Be warned.

Very nice spot by the ski lift. Do drive up, though. The parking lot isn't really inspiring.

The hill is steep, but if there is no snow, it is manageable even for a standard 7-meter camper.
