We were here 14 years ago as well; although we agree with most of them and are positive, and we understand that they had to move with the times, it is a shame that the real small-scale feel is gone, a lot has been added and there is less grass.

Still very laid-back and friendly though! Still full now!

We were here last August and stopped here again on the way back from Croatia. After 2 days, we decided to stay for another 2 days. Good campsite, close to the water (you get a key to the access gate to the beach). Braccobaldo Beach, a dog beach, is about a 1 km walk away. Be sure to book well in advance as it fills up quickly. Admission is free, but you pay 20 euros for 2 sunbeds plus a parasol.

We arrived here on June 17th and there was limited space left. Luckily, we were still able to find a nice spot (read: with shade, because it was 35 degrees). Despite looking like it's located in a residential area, this is a super quiet campsite. You can order bread in the morning, get tasty sandwiches at the bar, and the restaurant is right next to the campsite. Walking to the town takes about 15 minutes and is easy to do, along the lake. Great campsite!!!
