I've been there, and for what I paid, I'm a bit disappointed.
The pitches are poorly maintained.
The loading and unloading is outdated.
They charged me an extra €20 for the "administrative fee" for the reservation.
A rip-off.
The bar staff is not at all friendly.
The showers are dilapidated, although at least the water pressure was good.
If I had paid less, it would have been more in keeping with the service provided.

Nice campsite, plenty of space even for larger campers, close to the lake, the supermarket is just a short walk away, and there are fun things to do nearby.
Sanitary facilities were okay and cleaned frequently. A minor downside is that the black water disposal points were no longer located everywhere on the pitches as described on the map. Also a bit of a shame that you have to pay for a sunbed by the pool. And occasionally some noise from the schoolchildren. But manageable. Overall satisfied.

I have visited Camping San Benedetto several times now and have always had a good experience. It is a beautiful, tidy campsite with nice pitches and large, clean sanitary facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campsite restaurant is fine, and excellent restaurants can be found in the surrounding area within walking or cycling distance. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and is an excellent base on Lake Garda. Highly recommended.
