What a lovely place to stay!

Quiet spot, reasonably close to Liepaja town (5 km to the center), unique location right on the island with old forts.

The showers and toilets are very clean. You can do your dishes with good hot water.

You can also empty your wastewater and chemical toilet. Fresh water is also available.

In the evenings (in August) there are very active mosquitoes, but that is the case everywhere in the Baltics around this time of year.

We spent two nights here before taking the ferry back to Travemünde. A great place, especially if you're traveling with dogs. Just a 10-minute walk from the ferry. Good showers and toilets, and all necessary water and waste disposal facilities are available. Janis and his wife are incredibly friendly and speak perfect English. The campsite is wonderfully quiet, and you can easily reach the town center by bike. Pure nature, swimming opportunities, and a sauna.
