Not a top-notch campsite; it just isn't quite there. If you want to cycle into town, this campsite is okay, with a short stretch of unpaved road.

Right by the river with a large volleyball court. The sanitary facilities are just about acceptable.

Great natural spot on the Gauja, the town of Cesics is easily accessible, the castle is a must-see - €22 for a motorhome + 2 people + electricity, beautiful hiking trails along the Gauja, the sanitary facilities are completely run down, outdated and dirty, but it still gets 4 stars.
