The place to stay overnight is fine in itself, but we were shocked by the water quality. We always measure the values, and this water was very polluted and didn't smell fresh either. (For those in the know, this had more than 1000 ppm; the standard is below 500, and 50 is perfect.)

A nice, safe place to stay with water and chemical toilet emptying. Everything is free. There were still plenty of spots available. On day 1, we cycled along the Ebre to Amposta. A beautiful cycle path, but unfortunately no view of the river due to the vegetation. On day 2, we cycled along the Ebre to the sea. We saw many birds along the way, including the golden oriole, the night heron, the purple heron, and the hoopoe. Again, limited visibility of the river, but a beautiful bird area.

*March 2026* 

Since there was no space in Amposta, we drove 10 km further and ended up here. Spacious pitches, though some muddy patches. Grey water and toilet disposal, fresh water tap. Waste bins and Eurospar within walking distance. Beautiful cycle route along the Ebro and through the rice fields to Riumar, over 35 km. A good alternative if Amposta is full. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay.
