The first photo is incorrect. Walking distance to the old city center is approx. 800 m. A very beautiful city to visit. Stay overnight in a quiet spot.

It is actually not a camper site but a parking lot where several campers stay overnight. Fine spot without any facilities. You can walk straight into the beautiful old town center. You can park completely free of charge.

Good to park and visit Cáceres. For this walk about 100mtr up. To sleep a lot of traffic noise. Seems to start around 6 in the morning. After visiting Cáceres we went further to find a quiet cp.
