We spent a peaceful night here from 9:45 PM to 7:00 AM, without any problems, despite the sign stating that you can only stay for a maximum of 6 hours.
Beautiful view of Sweden.

It remains a pleasant and convenient place for us to spend the night before crossing. There's a sign now stating a maximum of 6 hours of parking, but we easily exceeded that limit. The weather wasn't quite as good, but divers and other brave Danes, like us, still ventured out for a refreshing dip.

Absolutely fine for a stopover - great views, very convenient for Helsingor, excellent takeaway pizza at Vecchia Maniera! 
It’s on the road for the ferry so there’s some traffic passing. 
Very convenient for sea bathing - so the car park is quite busy with people coming and going but would definitely recommend.
