This place is a gem. A beautiful spot by the water. Two supermarkets within 50 meters, and a very nice coffee shop/gift shop. You can dump your car/toilet at the gas station. Perfectly organized.

It just felt awful to be here for free. It was mentioned in previous reviews, but show your gratitude for this wonderful place by spending money in the village itself. Thanks for everything, Hornindal! We felt very welcome.

A beautiful, welcoming place. You feel at home among the locals. Everyone is very friendly. It's also beautifully maintained with plants and flowers. We were lucky that it was very warm and had a wonderful swim. Sometimes, if there's a cruise ship moored somewhere, they come by in large numbers with buses. But that's fine, those people get to enjoy the beautiful view, and after an hour, they're gone again. Thanks Hornindal!!!!
