A peaceful spot with many hiking and cycling routes through the beautiful surroundings.
There's a chalet with a vending machine for snacks and drinks.
For visiting Monschau itself, the campervan site near the town center is more convenient.

A basic site for 5 campers. €4 for a day ticket plus €5 for overnight stays. We had to pay with coins; our debit and credit cards weren't accepted. Electricity was €1 per kWh, payable only with the "Pay with Me" app. We couldn't manage that either, neither with a card nor with Google Pay. We didn't experience much trouble with the MTB training center.

nice quiet place in a good location! Beautiful walking and cycling routes nearby and 6 km from Monchau. Supermarket is within walking distance. We stayed here for 2 nights. Until 20:30 there was sports. Then quiet! There is an ice cream machine and for other groceries.
