Ideal for visiting Kaunas and for a day trip to Vilnius by train -  fares are cheap. The traffic noise wasn't as bad as the reviews suggested. Showers and toilets were fit for purpose - shower water hot. We arrived late and so had to ring the number displayed at reception for the barrier to open. Bus stop within walking distance. Nos 7 and 11 for the castle, no 7 to the railway station. €1.50pp bus fare. Good comms via Fcebook Messenger.

A great transit campsite.
Choose your own spot, shade or sun, both are possible.
It's located on a beautiful beach with a playground and a beach bar where you can also enjoy delicious food. We had a wonderful afternoon here.
Yes, it's on a busy road, but you choose to be near the town, right? Makes sense.

Very busy place. Indeed, constant noise from roads, motorcycles, etc., and very dirty restrooms. Good service area. Located on a lake, but in our opinion, this didn't make up for the chaos.
