Beautiful! Everything below is correct. We reached the top entirely on a paved section/road. It was perfectly manageable. We were invited to visit the charming church and the courtyard. They also showed us a little shop where we bought some wine.
We were allowed to stay overnight outside the gate. The people were incredibly friendly. The man himself erected the cross, which you can see high up on the mountain! :)

Peace, nature and hospitality, so 5 stars for us. Our navigation was up for it and sent us a few kilometers over a stony unpaved path. Fortunately our 4WD California had no problem with it. 2 km before the monastery there was still a paved road. 
Coordinates not entirely correct, the monastery is one km further at the end of the paved road.

If only the world looked like this, how loving and peaceful life is….!
Had a nice tour by the gardener, and probably the only man walking around there.
He offered to stay the night in front of the gate, but we wanted a bit more view and went 25km further to the Lucas monastery.
