Much has already been written, but it is still a great place to visit Dresden: supermarket and city center within walking distance.

Very neat parking area for many campers and within walking distance of the old town.
There are no amenities other than a trash can.
But grab your bike if you want to see more of this unique city.
We stayed here for three nights and felt safe.
However, you're located between several railway lines with many freight trains running over them, which does cause some noise pollution.
So, take out your hearing aids or put in earplugs for the night!

Cheap parking close to the city center, and the old town is within easy walking distance. It's an okay overnight stay, but very noisy due to the nearby railway tracks and frequent train traffic.
