Fine camper spot. No amenities, just a trash can. You can cycle to the old town in 20 minutes on a separate bike path. Quiet at night. In early April, no disturbance from traffic heading to cruise ships. Bakker arrives at 7:30 AM, according to him. On Saturdays at 10:30 AM.

A nice, free spot on the Danube. No amenities. There is a trash can. In the evening, we walked to a Turkish grill restaurant (2.5 km). We found it very quiet, but it was only March 8th, so there weren't any crowds from the tour boats yet.

Great location, quiet at night.
3km from Passau, we visited by bike. Beautiful cycling routes along the Danube. We rode to Wesenufer and were able to cycle back from there via the bridge on the Austrian side. A nicer cycling route in my opinion.
We stayed there for 2 nights. It's free, only trash cans.
Great place for a stopover!
