We stayed here with our camper for 4 days in August 2025. A beautiful spot with a view over the vast fields and absolutely fantastic: our own private sanitary cabin right next to us! We had lovely weather, enjoyed cycling to Dwarsgracht, Giethoorn, and the nearby nature reserve De Wieden, and enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful spot. Very friendly owner.

It's been 4 days, unfortunately. Perfect, quiet location. Friendly owner. Unfortunately, very poor and seriously neglected sanitary facilities. Discharging gray water into a corner of the lawn. Totally poorly maintained, neglected campsite. Fortunately we were self-sufficient. In our opinion, not recommended, we will certainly not come back.

2 stars purely for the place. Furthermore, it is all old junk. Fortunately, we are self-sufficient. Very unfortunate, because the location is really TOP! Just outside busy Giethoorn, in the middle of nature. Beautiful area for cycling through Dwarsgracht, Jonen, Vollenhove, Blokzijl, Blauwe Hand, Wanneperveen, Giethoorn, Sint Jansklooster, the Weerribben etc.
