Fantastic campsite. We were lucky to have a spot overlooking the river, which was bustling with canoes. Clean and tidy restrooms, friendly manager, and even a staff member who spoke Dutch. They also arrange canoe rentals; you can depart from the campsite and be picked up at the end point. Excellent facilities for emptying gray water/toilets and replenishing water. A laundry machine and dryer are available. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at this site for four nights at the end of May. The owners are very friendly—a couple who speak English and he even speaks German! The site is lovingly landscaped, with meadows, water and sewage disposal across the street, and it's located right on the river, making it simply idyllic, with very clean restrooms! The best spot on our 3.5-week tour through Poland. Highly recommended! We were even provided with stew as part of a canoeing group.

Well-maintained campsite, partly on a beautiful river, partly on the other side of the road. Friendly owners. You can rent canoes on site and you can choose where you want to be picked up. We were lucky that it was very quiet on the water (not yet high season and rain predicted). That can be different; along the water there are thousands of canoes ready for rent. If they all go on the water, Giethoorn is nothing compared to it.
