I had booked for today and tomorrow (2 nights) and, due to circumstances (severe thunderstorm over my hometown, house half flooded, major damage,....), I cannot go to the motorhome site. I called Lake Park politely to get some sympathy and to cancel for a refund or move the booking to a later date. It was promptly refused by the person in charge of the motorhome site. No sympathy, no understanding of people!!!!!!!

We spent 5 days at this camper site. We really enjoyed it. It is indeed a bit annoying that there are no trash cans. During the warm Whitsun weekend, everything started to smell a bit. But anyway, we sorted everything out a bit and it worked out fine. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It is also a beautiful area for walking and cycling. We will definitely be back.

Not a good price/quality ratio without a toilet, shower, or trash can. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi is of excellent quality; watching TV via my Android box didn't cause any interruptions. Also, a beautiful cycling area around the Donkmeeer and towards the Scheldt. It is also a shame that you cannot choose a zone without electricity, as we don't really need that.
