Nice campsite right on the Elbe; the pitches are arranged in a herringbone pattern, and you can choose the 1st row, closer to the Elbe, or the 2nd row, which is slightly cheaper.

Super friendly owners; they are busy expanding the campsite with more sanitary facilities, but what has already been completed looks very neat.

The public transport card is included in the price: take the train to Rathen for a beautiful walk to the Bastei, among other places. Dresden is also easily accessible by public transport.

It's actually quite a nice spot, right on the Elbe River. Unfortunately, there's not much going on on the Elbe anymore, and when we parked there, there was absolutely nothing. This campsite is the owner's second business, which will increasingly become the main focus. The pitches are arranged in a herringbone pattern on good old concrete slabs used for tank roads, and you can roll out your awning in front of them and relax.

We had booked spot 29 in the front row, the last spot!!! in the front row. When we arrived, there was a motorhome partially parked behind us in our booked spot!!! It was no longer possible to extend the awning. After consulting the rude operator, we were told that the marked layout of this spot was incorrect, and if it didn't suit us, we could leave. We were very happy to do so.
