We stayed one night without a reservation. It was a lovely, quiet campsite despite the many passing visitors. We had a great meal in the restaurant/beer garden. Friendly, enthusiastic staff. A bread roll service was available. The only downside (according to my teenage daughter) was that the shower stalls didn't have doors. Note that I believe they do have a midday rest period.

Friendly people, but quite expensive for what you get.
The swimming pool is no longer there; it's been filled in with concrete.
Fishing is also not allowed.
A real transit campsite, suitable for an overnight stay, with regular guests around.

arrived there around 13.15. couldn't get into the campsite because there was a noon rest from 13-15. had to wait outside the gate all that time. moved on. didn't feel hospitable. according to the young man who helped us it was tradition in the area.
