It's a very nice campsite in itself, if you're lucky enough to get one of the good pitches. There are also some less nice ones! The reception was very friendly. However, the sanitary facilities are completely unacceptable! No shower cubicles, just shower curtains. The changing room is more like a washroom. But it was clean! It's not suitable for cyclists, as you have to climb a very steep cobblestone road every time you want to leave the campsite. Too expensive for what it is!

The owner gave us a very friendly welcome. We wanted to travel from the campsite to Ratzeburg by bus or boat, but there was no option. One night in a campervan for two people would have cost €33 without electricity, so we continued on our way. A real shame...

very nice campsite 4 km from the town with a beautiful view of the lake and the Dom. Looks a bit messy at first but everything is fine. clean and sufficient sanitary facilities. bread service and friendly owner. nice harbour and restaurant 500 m away
