A neat location with a helpful, friendly manager who runs the pub around the corner every day after closing. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean, and there's plenty of hot water. There's a bus stop, the X4, at the pub, right in front of the campsite entrance, providing a good connection to Whitby. For £3 per person, you can reach this fantastic historic town in half an hour. The price per night, including electricity, is €40 per night.
