Great campsite in stunning surroundings. June 2026: camper with 2 people and electricity 34 pounds per night. The owner was kind enough to print out 3 cycling routes for us. We rode the 32.5 km route, but with the detours to the North Water Viaduct and the Ferryden lighthouse included, it turned into 43 km.

Recommended: a visit to the small station before the Bridge of Dun and the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre between Maryton and Montrose. Wonderful!

Friendly welcome, internet booking is advised but there are always a few places left for passers-by. There are also many mobile caravans, but as a camper or caravan you stand in separate places on the grass. Toilet building is dated but well maintained and very clean. The beach is within walking distance of the campsite.  We had a wonderful time there.
