A winding mountain road to the top. A forgotten place at about 1600 m altitude, total peace, ideal, incl. cold nights, ideal as a starting point for walks. Basic facilities, very nice village within walking distance. Accessibility for campers from 6.5 meters? That will be difficult, I think.

"aire Le Gay" 

a beautiful place with a view of the mountains all around, after all you are on a mountain in the Alps.
the road there (coming from Grenoble) winds through small mountain villages with very narrow roads, which can be a problem for larger campers (in my opinion the field is also not suitable for large campers).

facilities are very basic but perfectly functional.

quiet, view of the plain, departure point for hikes 
sanitary facilities, water point, shower if you want a hot shower buy a token with the tourist office in Besse before arrival 
picnic table available with a few trees 
A socket to recharge the phone would be missing for hikers 
at the cillage 1km small grocery store
