Beautiful, spacious campsite. Located next to a reed-lined duck pond. The restrooms are very basic but clean. The owner is very friendly. Definitely a much better alternative to the battery-hen pitches in the village.

What the previous reviewer wrote is true. The farmer doesn't come between 12 and 4 pm, so call before and after if he's not there. The sanitary facilities are clearly very outdated, with only one sitting toilet, obviously without a seat or paper, and four old-fashioned squatting holes. Everything is clean, though. Most pitches don't have electricity, but we did get a pitch with an extra €4 per night, bringing the total to €22 per night. There are many more pitches than the ten listed.

Camping on well kept grass is so much nicer than on gravel, sand or hard standing.
The welcome was warm and friendly,
The site is easy to find, quiet, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by fields.
The sanitary block is basic but clean.
Everything is simple and authentic - what a campsite should be.
