A great campsite if you're not into luxury.
We arrived quietly down and back on the road in our 6.40m VW LT35. Don't be put off by other reviews.
Most pitches are great.
The restaurant and chef are fantastic.
The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome.
The pool is okay, but the bathroom facilities leave a lot to be desired. Bring toilet paper and be prepared for a cold shower.

Our location was good and the view was stunning.
We had a delicious meal in the restaurant on our first evening. The pool is nice, but the bathrooms are terrible: incredibly outdated and poorly cleaned, with mold everywhere. Paste in the sinks stays there for three days. The shower drain was clogged (the whole week) and we spent a whole day in the stench of the septic tank being emptied, and all the overflowing toilets leading upstairs are hopeless.

If the site manager would do a bit more cleaning and maintenance, the rating could be higher. Sanitary facilities are just not good, and not clean either. View: if you have a good spot, it is beautiful. For the same money you are looking at another camper. Swimming pool is OK, but with a few worn-out beds and cheap plastic furniture there is still a lot to gain here. There is not much to do in the village.
