It's indeed a large vacant lot.
They're slowly renovating it.
Yesterday, when we arrived, they were planting trees, and we think there are pipes ready for the electricity.
The service area is also very neat and clean.
There's a park in front of the camper site with a playground and a table, and a sports hall and grounds surrounding it.
It's a pretty village with nice shops and restaurants, now lavishly decorated for Christmas.

Simple camper place of CCP at the sports fields. Quietly situated, well lit. No electricity, but water. Nice walk along the river to a beautiful village.

I understand the previous reviews that it is not a very attractive area.
But you are doing yourself a disservice not to stay at least 1 night. A beautiful place. Approx. 20 min walk. So it is a Camping Car Park, at home I had the card in a week (5 euros and unlimited validity), also to buy at the gate. DA super at the bridge. Will definitely come back.
