A nice place to stay overnight, and also nice to stroll through Coulon in the evening.

It was good that we at least had a place to stay overnight (there wasn't a single campsite with room). Checking in was quick at the vending machine, and there was plenty of room. The toilets were really dirty, although I must say they were cleaned the next morning. We cycled along the water to Niort, a nice route, but we left again in the afternoon.

Large camper place, nice village and nice walk along the water or take a boat trip through the Marais de Poitevin.
also recommended is to take the bus just outside the camper place to Niort. Transport is free and in Niort a Navette bus drives, also free.
