Well-maintained place, very quietly situated. Walk along a paved road around the lake. The spot is located in nature with nothing else to do, just a few picnic tables at the back. Lots of birds and slept peacefully. The baker drove up around 9 am.

Quiet days (15-17 May) at this Camping-car Park aire. Access with pass or code (see CCP app). Beautiful cycling around Lac du Der. Birdwatching hut nearby, spotting cranes in early spring and autumn. 
No shops etc within walking distance. So shopping on the way😉. During our stay the baker came to the CP. 
At 6-7 km is Giffaumont-Champaubert and Station Nautique (water sports) with restaurants (busy in season).

is just open. yes you need a pass de etapes but you can just get that from the machine. if you have any problems you can always call
