You could stand there, but I advise against it.

We were down there today with a 9m/6t vehicle; the drive up to the platform was still manageable. However, you can see the unfinished work from the last flood, and as the previous reviewer noted, the road might be blocked by construction vehicles.

The photo shows the critical spot on the descent: steep, with tight bends and cobblestones. Difficult without traction control.

The camper pitch is still partially buried under the sand and is unusable. The road leading to it is narrow when trucks are parked there unloading. The other camper pitch is much easier to reach.

The camper site is closed due to the recent flooding.
Everything still needs to be cleaned, which is quite a task.
The other camper site is still available (across from the fire station).
