It is very hospitable of the municipality to make this spot available for free. There is no electricity, but there is the possibility to empty and refill fluids (free of charge!!). Camping behavior is NOT permitted (though I believe it is tolerated). The terrain is nice and level with sufficient sun and shade. There is officially space for 6 campers, with overflow to the lake. The town center and shops are within a 1 km radius. There is little noise from the highway.

We stayed there for one night!! Had a terrible experience. The camper was broken into around four in the morning; probably sprayed something. We heard the door slam shut. What a disaster, everything gone. Clothes, phones, jewelry, bank cards. At five in the morning,
two 50 euro bills were printed. The crooks. Filed a report with the police on Sunday and blocked everything. Then off to Spain; still had a nice holiday.

Regards, Jos

I stayed here for two days on my way back to Belgium. The water is indeed turned off, but thanks to the city for providing these spots. It's a shame that accessing the water becomes more difficult when you have a trailer. I don't find the ambient noise bothersome.
