It is a normal (large) parking lot. Road surface not flat. we stood on the side of the road, it is a bit flatter there. Quite a busy road.
We were there on a Sunday evening. Fortunately we were able to get a pizza (a tasty one!) in the town. 200 m

Couldn't find the place, now a very large parking lot is good if you want to view the city with the beautiful cathedral. We went behind the Intermache.
