Quiet, free parking (electricity available for a fee), toilet available. Only 500 meters to the city.

Beautifully situated, free campsite right on the Weser River. During the day you can hear the road and the train. Both become quiet at night. The railway line behind the campsite also doesn't run at night. So it's very peaceful. Electricity and water are available for a fee; there are no water or waste disposal facilities, but there are trash cans.

We had a nice, quiet night here on Friday. The young people (and older ones) are grouped together on the lawn but leave around 11:00 PM. We weren't bothered by passing cars. The train starts running again at 6:00 AM, but it causes minimal disruption. On Saturday morning, the chip stand starts setting up, including the patio. I can imagine this might cause some inconvenience for the campers, as they're all very close together.
