## Reviews
### Mablegrey - 4/5
*May 2026*

A well-equipped campsite with all amenities at a fair price. However, the monastery church bells are really annoying at 5:00 a.m., and it seems the monks need a long time to wake up and get to Mass. The campsite is definitely wide awake as well.

Beuron is a beautiful little village with many different walking and cycling routes. The church bells wake you up as early as 5:00 AM. Disposing of wastewater is difficult because the drain is right up against a curb. Emptying your chemical toilet is also difficult because you cannot flush there. Payment is indeed made with coins, but there is a change machine available. Nice for a one-night stay, but everything is very cramped and the facilities are mediocre.

### Usahaja - 3/5
*July 2025*

The site has a very idiosyncratic layout, which we didn't like. The coin-only payment system is outdated, but the water and waste disposal system is available and OK. A small part of the monastery can be visited, which takes about an hour. Otherwise, the area, with its huge, empty parking lot and many abandoned-looking buildings, seemed more like a lost place to us.
