The camper site consists of two platforms. We stayed on platform 1 (the circle), but it is very uneven, making it impossible to level the camper, even with leveling jacks. The site is entirely made of concrete and grey pebbles, making it incredibly lacking in atmosphere. The owner is exceptionally unfriendly; upon arrival, there was an immediate sarcastic remark about payment. Fortunately, better alternatives can be found in the area. Cochem is easily accessible by bicycle.

Good wines, friendly wine sales staff. Unfortunately, the power supply was very poor. We and many others had no power that night. When we reported this to reception, the friendliness was over. We decided to leave early rather than spend another night without power. We had paid for the electricity for two nights, but they didn't want to hear about a refund!
