Camping De La Vallée in the Belgian Ardennes

is a small to medium-sized, friendly campsite.

The campsite is beautifully situated in a valley,

directly on the Ourthe River in Barvaux,

a district of the historic town of Durbuy.

We have approximately 120 pitches.



We cater to families, hikers, and cyclists (also those passing through).

Camping “De La Vallée”

via NCK Campercontact.

I was received very warmly by the owner. Beautiful, dedicated paved camper pitches with all amenities included.

The pitches on the grass field are firm and spacious, suitable for campers, caravans, and tents; the sanitary facilities are well maintained.

The owner is truly turning it into a 5-star location.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, as well as the cycling and walking opportunities.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful/quiet location
BUT:
- Too small a campervan site: two pitches next to each other, so close together you have to tuck in, too small to maneuver, for example, to reach the drain
- Also, many caravans with awnings
- Water is mainly shut off, and nothing inside is open to access water
- Access road to reception and waste disposal site is full of deep holes
- Had to pay an extra 15 euros for a pitch, but still got assigned a pitch?
- Wi-Fi is very unstable

Beautifully landscaped, relatively new camper sites. The owners are still working hard on the best solutions for certain issues. Give them some time and they'll become a 5+ star. I'm convinced that any minor inconveniences that remain will be resolved soon.
