Great spot.

I had booked spot 6 for 4 PM, but when I arrived at 6 PM, a camper was already there. Unfortunately, no one was inside the camper; however, there was a yellow notice from enforcement under the windshield wiper: the owner apparently hadn't paid. A note was hanging on a window stating that the camper is for sale.
Fortunately, the camper owner from spot 5 was willing to move forward a bit so that I could park in between. That was really nice!

On Sunday morning there was no noise from the concrete plant, and I didn't hear anything last night either, but there was a heavy shower late in the evening and that possibly deterred the noise makers. That's why it was fine standing here and I walked into town.

I completely agree with Black Widow. This is a great place to visit Amersfoort, with excellent value for money.
Go there and enjoy a place so close to the city.
The adjacent road is a bit noisy; if that's a problem, there are certainly quieter places in Drenthe.
