We were very surprised to find that instead of the advertised pitch fee of £20, we now have to pay £50 per night... Reason: Holiday season!

We consider this price increase of 1.5 times the advertised amount to be quite excessive!

Otherwise, we agree with the previous reviewers... A rip-off!

As our predecessor already wrote, it is a fantastic campsite. Even 2 family shower cubicles with toilet, shower, and bathtub. Very friendly hostess. We paid 20 pounds on Sunday, a bargain for what is offered. Spacious, level pitches.

We stayed here for 4 nights in June 2024. Excellent campsite, quiet location, very friendly staff. All sites have electricity, water and drainage on site. Small shop in reception, café/pub next door with good kitchen. Walks can be taken from the campsite to a large moorland area, Woodbury Common.
Rate for 2 people, camper and dog is £23 on weekends and £20 on weekdays, very cheap for England!
