Honestly, we don't understand the whining of previous reviewers.
It's a clean, huge, well-paved parking lot, well-lit at night.
We're almost in the middle of the city, and yes, you can hear the streets.

Cost: €15 for 24 hours or €50 per week. The ticket allows free use of the city bus.
We paid with coins without any problems. Payment via app is supposed to work, but not with cards.

A city like Konstanz should be ashamed of itself. This city relies on tourism and lets its guests spend the night at the bus station on a sandy strip of land with no water or sewage disposal for €15. Unfortunately, there's no official alternative, hence the price. Despite the heavy rain, the public order office was out three times a day checking the parking situation. Thank you, Konstanz.

*August 2025*

The only parking lot in the city where campers are allowed. According to the machine, the cost is €15 until 11:59 PM. That would be €30 for an overnight stay. Contactless payment wasn't possible, and we didn't have that much cash in coins. We paid via an app, but it only allowed a rate for one car: two times €3 plus a service fee of two times 50 cents. Restrooms are available: €1. Some noise until midnight, then quiet. Slept wonderfully.
