De Oosterweide is a peaceful, landscaped campsite in Pesse, near Dwingelderveld National Park. Here, you'll camp with your campervan on a green, park-like site where sustainability and biodiversity go hand in hand: winding paths, hedgerows and banks, blooming meadows, and an orchard with tall-stemmed fruit trees. So you'll be truly surrounded by greenery, yet on a neat, well-maintained lawn. The campsite has 43 spacious pitches, all suitable for campervans. The sanitary facilities are comfortable and clean. Showers are coin-free and pressure-controlled, with comfortable showers and thermostatic taps. The shower water is heated by solar energy.

We parked our camper in the orchard, a lovely, quiet spot.

The facilities are new and tidy, and regional meat is sold for BBQ enthusiasts.

We were just passing through, but it is certainly a beautiful place from which to explore the surrounding area.

Beautiful campsite, with lovely spots. Nothing to complain about, everything is well organized. And yet, the managers still see room for improvement.

That shows you are dedicated to giving others a wonderful time through and through. Keep up the good work; we will definitely be back someday.

Beautiful green campsite for lovely bike rides and walks. Neat toilet block. Hoogeveen town centre is nearby. Friendly owner Yvonne has marked routes and sights in the “service area”. Well-maintained and spacious pitches, beautiful lawn! Pleasant welcome and efficient communication when needed. Quiet. We stayed on pitch 12, enjoying the rising sun.
