You are required to pay pitch fees after 5:00 PM. According to the municipality's website, this is €13.00. Maximum stay of 3 x 24 hours. No camping behavior. Download the app for electricity/water.

Unfortunately, the pitches are not level. Wastewater drain right next to the bike path. No shade, but a nice view of the marina.

This camper pitch was redeveloped by the municipality of Smallingerland in 2025 and looks neat.

The vegetation still needs to grow further, but nature has to take care of that ;-)

Unfortunately, the pitch is not entirely level. So a handbrake and blocks are a must.
It's a shame the owner found his camper with wet feet, and hopefully the damage wasn't too bad.

Great place to explore the city on foot. The AH To Go nearby is also handy. But a point of criticism: the payment system is so complicated. Who came up with this?
