This camper pitch was redeveloped by the municipality of Smallingerland in 2025 and looks neat.

The vegetation still needs to grow further, but nature has to take care of that ;-)

Unfortunately, the pitch is not entirely level. So a handbrake and blocks are a must.
It's a shame the owner found his camper with wet feet, and hopefully the damage wasn't too bad.

Great place to explore the city on foot. The AH To Go nearby is also handy. But a point of criticism: the payment system is so complicated. Who came up with this?

The place is beautiful! Payment is complicated. Concrete barriers to entry and exit.
The dumping should have been in the back, but now it's not ideal for cyclists and pedestrians. No trash can. This beautiful place hasn't been properly designed!
