We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Cornwall. We did not book in advance. Just turned up. Needed chucks to get level. Paid £20 cash per night (summer rate). Phil (the owner) was very friendly & helpful. He explained the facilities. Great view depending on where you pitch. Handy if you play golf. You can also eat at the Club House. We went for a walk along the Coastal Path. 
We were surprised at the price given the basic facilities.
