In a secluded, peaceful, shady setting, with views over the village hills and surrounding woods and fields of wheat or sunflowers.
The activities
Just 5 minutes away is the Canal du Midi and Castelnaudaryaet along the canal by bike or fly boat.
Nearby you can also discover the Lac de Saint Ferriol, Lac de la Ganguise with sailing courses. The magnificent Cité de Carcassonne, 36 km away, and Toulouse, the pink city and its Cité de l'Espace.
Not far away, there's the Ariège.
Every Monday, you can take advantage of the market in Castelnaudary and the Saturday morning market in Revel (20 kM).
You can go hiking on the hills of VILLENEUVE LA COMPTAL, the site where Clément ADER made his first flight tests.

Experience: Merci à Claude et Gisèle pour leur super accueil. Nous avons passé 3 jours très sympa. Beaucoup d'échanges, ils ont toujours été disponibles quand nous avons eu besoin. Les enfants ont adorés le contact avec  les animaux (chiens,  ânes), ils gardent pleins de beaux souvenirs dans leurs têtes. Ils étaient tristes de quitter max mais nous reviendrons très certainement faire un petit coucou à Claude et Gisèle quand nous repasserons dans le sud.
Merci pour ce beau séjour.
