Nice spot. Just don't know how long it will last…. when camper owners say there is enough room for more than 5 campers !! This camper site is for 5 campers, if those spots are full; Drive on.
Have more camper sites been closed lately because there were too many parked there….

Beautiful, spacious pitches with a view of the Westerschelde; there are usually more than 5 campers, so there is plenty of room. Most campers take this into account, with the exception of a few (see photo of the lady's small van with a dog); I don't think what she did was acceptable, we could easily have parked next to her 🤷🏼‍♂️ we drove on but will definitely be back, and we'll only meet sociable campers 👍.

Fantastic campervan pitch right on the water. Clean, quiet, and with paved pitches. Ideal for an overnight stay or a few relaxing days. The location is idyllic and perfect as a starting point for bike tours. It's especially lovely to watch the many large ships on the canal. A heartfelt thank you to the municipality of Hansweert for providing and maintaining this beautiful pitch. We'll definitely be back! 🚐🌊🚢
