remains an example for the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the NKC only promotes camper campsites. 4 stars; 5 for the German example where you can also get service. On to Germany now.

We were parked by the water during the day.
An unfriendly gentleman showed up and told us he was a BOA (police enforcement officer). He would come by in the evening to check if we were in the designated spots (because rules are rules).
We are extremely satisfied with the location.

There's nothing, but it also costs nothing. Many municipalities could learn a thing or two from this. Our large campervan was resting against the sign on the corner, which allows satellite reception. It's a great cycling area and close to a supermarket.
